WATCH: Kazakh wrestler challenges Boxing champion Terence Crawford to a grappling match

Terence Crawford is the WBO welterweight world champion.  Crawford has recently displayed his impressive wrestling skills during a sparring session with a friend.

A while back, Crawford had a session which took place in his living room. It saw Crawford channel his inner Khabib Nurmagomedov as he forced his pal to tap twice.

Crawford’s wrestling abilities have garnered interest from the mixed martial arts community, with his promoter Bob Arum previously mentioning the possibility of a crossover bout with UFC star Conor McGregor.

Of course, this is far fetched but Arum still stated that Crawford would not be averse to facing McGregor with MMA rules, citing his background in wrestling as an advantage in the octagon.

Recently, he took on a Kazakh wrestler, and the two turned some heads considering Crawford finally found his match.

Terence Crawford’s recent display of his wrestling skills has once again highlighted his versatility and potential for mixed martial arts. It’s a shame the UFC wasn’t paying better.

Crawford last competed in December of 2022 when he defeated David Avanesyan with massive right hand KO.
