WATCH: Huge melee breaks out in South London bowling alley

In a startling incident, a large-scale brawl erupted at a bowling alley in London, prompting a swift response from law enforcement to restore order.

The brawl took place at Tenpin in Bexleyheath, southeast of the city. Automobiles and police vans had to arrive at the scene to put an end to it. After the incident,  one individual had to be transported to the hospital.

Prompted by the severity of the incident, the Metropolitan Police has initiated a thorough investigation into the brawl. The incident resulted in many youngsters suffering face injuries.

According to a video, the disturbance unfolded around 11:15 pm on a Friday evening. The altercation involved a group of two women and one man, which escalated into a full-blown altercation. The trio tussles, narrowly avoiding surrounding furniture.

The group falls near green chairs and a table where patrons would usually be dining and drinking. Four additional young men join the fray, attempting to separate the man from one of the women. The situation intensifies, with onlookers witnessing some participants resorting to kicking those on the ground.

One guy picks up one of the women who is dressed in a white cardigan. He picks her up from the floor before attempting to shove her over. Three more people enter the fray in the backdrop, trying to topple each other and deflect blows with the overturned chairs.

The brawl shows no sign of stopping. Then a man wearing a dark brown sweater and seeming to be a staff member enters the brawl in the center.

This helps to quiet the noise for a short while. But as soon as the scrap moves from the eating area into the alleyways, it picks back up.

A young guy wearing a hoodie almost hits a participant who is clutching a puffer jacket that seems to be shedding feathers due to a tear in the clothing. Instead, the attacker collides with a staff member and is quickly sent to the ground by a powerful blow from the person he attempted to harm.

Amidst the escalating violence, a substantial police presence arrives on the scene in order to diffuse the situation.
