Conflicts are a part of human nature and occur in various forms and at different levels, ranging from personal to global. The frequency and intensity of conflicts vary depending on the social, cultural, economic, and political factors of a society.
However, conflicts are a common phenomenon in every society, and it is hard to find a community that has not experienced any conflict in its history.
Conflicts can escalate due to various reasons, including:
Communication breakdown or misinterpretation of messages can lead to conflicts.
Conflicts can arise when individuals or groups hold different values, beliefs, and opinions on a particular issue.
Competition for resources or power can lead to conflicts, particularly when the parties involved feel threatened.
When individuals or groups feel that they have been treated unfairly or unjustly, they may respond with conflict.
Sometimes it’s hard to tell what leads to an escalation but there’s always something to learn from the incident. This next video that went viral was viewed over half a million times on social media in span of last few days.
It depicts an incident in Montclair, Canada.
Two girls were caught in a heated scrap by an onlooker at the mall. While people go on about their day, these two are just going crazy.
The incident starts off with some hair grabbing, a staple of woman to woman combat in an unregulated setting.
It quickly moves beyond that to stomps as one of them uses the hair grab to bring down her opponent and rain down ground and pound.
At this point several onlookers jump in, as to prevent her from going overboard and to put some distance between the two.
But apparently some of these onlookers had personal relations with the scrappers leading them to become engaged in a group scrap instead of stopping the incident from escalating.
It was quite a sight to behold but luckily there weren’t tremendous repercussions for any of the participants.
