WATCH: Logan Paul does jiu-jitsu at open workouts to box Dillon Danis

In a recent open workout session ahead of his boxing match against Logan Paul, Dillon Danis showcased his impressive jiu-jitsu skills, leaving the crowd thoroughly entertained. The controversial jiu-jitsu expert relished the opportunity to display his grappling and wrestling techniques on UFC middleweight Phil Hawes.

Set to make his long-awaited return to combat sports at the Misfits X DAZN: The Prime Card event in Manchester, England, Danis’s boxing match against Paul promises to be a spectacle. This bout is part of a unique dual-headliner event, with KSI squaring off against Tommy Fury in the other main event.

In response, Logan Paul also exhibited his grappling prowess during the open workouts. The Paul brothers have been diligent students of jiu-jitsu, with high-profile training sessions featuring renowned UFC stars such as Adesanya and Volkanovski.

However, Logan Paul’s motivation for facing Danis raised eyebrows. When questioned about his choice of opponent, Paul candidly admitted that his primary objective was to promote his energy drink brand, Prime.

Paul explained, “I have everything to lose and nothing to gain. What do I get out of this by beating Dillon Danis?”

He went on to clarify that his participation was mainly to market Prime, which had invested significant resources in assembling a card featuring top-notch fighters for an entertaining event.

Nonetheless, this bout carries a personal edge. Paul and Danis have a contentious history, with the MMA fighter directing a series of insults toward Paul’s fiancee, Nina Agdal. The harassment included manipulated explicit images of her, leading to Agdal obtaining a temporary restraining order last month.

Their rivalry is set to reach its climax on Saturday night, promising a showdown that has attracted significant attention, both for the personal animosity involved and the martial arts skills they’ll put on display.
