Craig Jones is turning into a real social media star as of late. Jones headlined UFC FPI 6 against Rafael Lovato Jr.

Jones was busy all week with the usual shenenigans including a ‘Keep jiu-jitsu gay’ homage walk in, accompanied by his plus one.

The much-anticipated sixth edition of the Fight Pass Invitational, hosted by the UFC, unfolded with a captivating showcase of grappling prowess. Held on Sunday evening following UFC Vegas 87, the event emanated live from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, delivering thrilling matchups and memorable moments.

Headlining the card was a compelling showdown between two grappling titans, Craig Jones and BJJ icon Rafael Lovato Jr. The co-main event added further excitement, pitting Nicky Rodriguez against Roberto Jimenez in a clash of formidable talents.


Jones vs. Lovato: In the highly-anticipated main event, Craig Jones squared off against Rafael Lovato Jr., showcasing their exceptional grappling skills. Jones, a former two-time ADCC silver medalist, demonstrated his prowess with a breathtaking flying triangle finish against UFC welterweight Phil Rowe at Karate Kombat 44. Despite facing a seasoned veteran like Lovato, Jones exhibited his versatility and determination in a captivating matchup that kept grappling enthusiasts on the edge of their seats.


Jones also went on to thank his PEDs and his sponsor in the speech afterwards.

Rest of the Card: The co-main event featured Nicky Rodriguez, a standout member of the Danaher Death Squad, against Roberto Jimenez in the Absolute division. Rodriguez, a prominent figure in the grappling scene, aimed to continue his winning streak against a tough opponent. Additionally, Nicholas Meregali faced Matheus Diniz in another Absolute division bout, while Mason Fowler returned to action at 215 pounds to take on Pedro Marinho.


Other notable matchups included Victor Hugo’s victory over Roosevelt Sousa and Ronaldo Junior’s win against Kody Steele.

Gigi Canuto secured a triumph over Denise Gomes via heel hook, while Shane Shapiro emerged victorious over Ben Eddy with an arm triangle in overtime. Raquel Canuto sealed the evening with a victory over UFC women’s flyweight Karol Rosa via RNC.
