While keeping Patel in headlock, he shouted: “Now put your hands down and don’t touch anybody.”

A lady wearing a cap backwards approached the two and said, “I’m a police officer.” The guy in blue then responded, “So am I.”

The disturbance caused a delay of 30 minutes as authorities were summoned to handle the situation. Passengers and crew members intervened to restrain Patel until law enforcement arrived.

Following the incident, Patel was arrested on multiple charges. According to the Post, they were “two counts of battery and one count of disorderly intoxication, all misdemeanors.” According to records, he was still being held in the Hillsboro County prison on a $2,150 bail.
