Craig Jones Breaks Man’s Leg at Seminar After Ego-Driven Rolls in Ukraine

Craig Jones found himself in the middle of a concerning incident during his recent seminar in Ukraine. The seminar, intended to be a constructive learning experience for the local athletes, quickly devolved into a concerning display of ego and recklessness.

According to Jones’ account, Jones had spent the day rolling with a series of enthusiastic but overeager students. Despite his attempts to control the intensity, several of the participants engaged in spazzy, competitive rolls, putting their own safety and that of the instructor at risk.

The situation reached a breaking point when one particular student, described as a “giant Dagi dude,” insisted on rolling with Jones despite the warnings. In the ensuing exchange, Jones was forced to take drastic action, ultimately resulting in the student sustaining a devastating leg injury.

“I couldn’t handle it anymore,” Jones lamented in the recent vlog. “I was like, ‘H that’s it, you’re going to [ __ ] be injured now.’ I was just trying to protect myself and the other athletes, but it got out of hand.”

The incident has left Jones visibly shaken, questioning whether he can continue conducting seminars in such high-intensity environments. “Seminars might be over, bro,” he admitted. “I swear to God, I might be done.”

The aftermath of this incident has raised important questions about the responsibilities of instructors in managing the egos and safety of their students, particularly at charity seminars where such behavior is completely out of place. Despite the high level of BJJ, talent can’t be expected to perform in high intensity unsafe rolls with complete strangers who have very little regard for the intensitiy level dicateted to them.
