Dana White: Donald Trump’s grandchildren are doing BJJ

UFC President Dana White recently revealed that former President Donald Trump’s grandchildren have taken up Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a move he wholeheartedly endorses. In a recent interview, White shared his excitement about Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner’s children training in the martial art.

“(Ivanka’s) kids are doing jiu-jitsu, which was brilliant,” White told  FOX News Channel’s One Nation.. “They got their kids into jiu-jitsu.”

The UFC boss has long been a vocal advocate for children learning BJJ from an early age. He believes the martial art can have a transformative effect on young people’s lives, instilling confidence, discipline, and valuable life skills.

“Put your kids into jiu-jitsu. Jiu-jitsu will change your kids’ lives and give them a level of confidence,” White stated in a separate interview. He emphasized that while traditional sports like soccer and basketball are beneficial, BJJ provides skills that last a lifetime.

White’s enthusiasm for BJJ extends beyond just recommending it for children. He discovered the martial art himself at age 28 and describes it as a life-changing experience. “It’s like you wanna take the red pill and find out what life is really all about,” he said, comparing his first BJJ class to the eye-opening moment in “The Matrix.”

The connection between the Trump family and the UFC runs deep. White has repeatedly expressed his gratitude to Donald Trump for supporting the UFC in its early days. “Trump was the guy who reached out to us when we couldn’t get venues and had us come to the Taj. We did our first two shows over there,” White recalled.

This support seems to have evolved into a shared passion for combat sports. White mentioned that Ivanka and Jared attended their first UFC event recently (UFC 299) and were thoroughly impressed. “Those two couldn’t stop texting me saying, this is crazy. We’ve been to everything you could possibly go to. We’ve never been to anything as fun as that,” he recounted.
