WATCH: Twitch streamer snaps ankle in friendly backyard wrestling match

What was meant to be a friendly backyard wrestling match between two popular Twitch streamers took a disastrous turn, leaving one participant with an injury.

On September 15, streamers Tae and FaZe Silky decided to engage in some playful wrestling at a gathering in Los Angeles. The atmosphere was initially lighthearted, with Silky exclaiming, “Back in LA with the FaZe boys, let the games begin! Ahhh!”

However, the jovial mood quickly shifted when Tae suddenly experienced a painful injury to his ankle during the match. Despite appearing to have the upper hand in the friendly competition, Tae’s mishap brought the impromptu event to an abrupt halt.

Witnesses reported hearing a loud snap, followed by Tae’s distressed cries. “Bro, my ankle! My ankle!” he shouted, prompting concerned onlookers to call for an immediate stop to the wrestling.

The incident didn’t end there, as observers also noted a popping sound coming from Tae’s knee just before the match concluded. A spectator was heard exclaiming, “I heard that!” in response to the unsettling noise.

As the severity of the situation became apparent, Tae lay face-down on the grass while Silky offered comforting pats on his back. Bystanders quickly sprang into action, using flashlights to assess the extent of Tae’s injuries and determine the safest way for him to move.

While Tae has yet to provide an update on his condition, Silky reassured fans that his fellow streamer was doing alright. “That’s the main thing that I was worried about, was that bro was good,” Silky stated, expressing his concern for his friend’s well-being.

As for Silky, he recently secured his position in the FaZe Clan roster, which was announced in April following a significant restructuring that saw 17 members removed from the group.
