Polaris 30: Play by Play Michael Page out-grapples Carlos Condit
In an upset, MMA striker Michael “Venom” Page showcased his grappling skills to defeat former UFC champion Carlos Condit in the main event of Polaris 30.
The match started with aggressive wrestling from MVP, who used his length and athleticism to control the early exchanges. Condit was able to pull guard and threaten with submissions from bottom, including a triangle attempt.
MVP’s dynamic movement was on full display as he hit a beautiful duck under takedown.
Condit threatened with leg attacks throughout, locking in a kneebar at one point. However, MVP’s flexibility and defensive skills allowed him to escape.

In the final minutes, MVP’s wrestling shone through again as he hit another duck under and takedown attempt.
After 10 minutes of back-and-forth action, the judges awarded the decision victory to MVP. In his interview, Page said:
“He’s a tough guy, really strong, grips are crazy. I’m used to being the one that has the mad grips. Great grips, good leg locks, but I was not sobbing.”
Polaris 30: Play by Play Helena Crevar vs Nia Blackman
The Polaris 30 co-main event featured a clash between two young grappling prodigies, as 17-year-old champion Helena Crevar defended her under 70 kg women’s title against 20-year-old challenger Nia Blackman.
From the opening bell, Crevar showcased her aggressive guard attacks, immediately threatening leg locks.
Blackman displayed impressive submission defense, escaping several tight positions.
Crevar continued to attack relentlessly throughout the match, attempting armbars, triangles, and leg locks.
While Blackman had some success with pressure passing attempts late in the match, Crevar’s guard proved difficult to crack. In the end, Crevar’s constant offense was enough to earn her the unanimous decision victory and retain her title.
In her interview, Crevar praised her opponent’s toughness:
“Yeah, definitely very strong, you know, 70kg is a little higher than what I usually compete at, so I could be like 65 usually, but I’m always up for a challenge. I love liking absolute divisions and going like up and rank age and weight, so Nia was very strong and it was a definitely great match. I’m really thankful to her for the amazing match.”
Crevar also expressed interest in pursuing more titles with Polaris:
“Yeah, pretty much I’d love to do 65kg and then also continue defending my belt at 70kg, so definitely doing multiple divisions.”
The match showcased the incredibly high level of women’s grappling, with two young stars putting on an entertaining and technical display. Crevar’s victory cements her status as one of the top female grapplers in the world at just 17 years old.”
Polaris 30: Play by Play – Keith Krokorian def. Jed Hue via unanimous decision
In a highly anticipated lightweight bout at Polaris 30, Keith Krokorian secured a unanimous decision victory over Jed Hue after 10 minutes of action-packed grappling.

Krokorian wasted no time going on the offensive, quickly taking Hue’s back in the opening minutes and securing a body triangle. Hue displayed excellent defense, continuously rotating to prevent Krokorian from securing the finish.
After eventually escaping the back control, Hue initiated some attacks of his own, including a heel hook attempt. However, Krokorian’s defense held strong.
The middle portion of the match saw back-and-forth action, with both grapplers looking for submissions and advantageous positions. Krokorian continued to press forward aggressively while Hue relied on his crafty guard work.
In the closing minutes, Hue picked up the pace in search of a finish, but Krokorian’s earlier dominance proved too much to overcome on the scorecards.

After having his hand raised, an fired-up Krokorian called for a future matchup with Ashley Williams, emphatically stating: “Let’s fu**ing go. Let’s get all the guys that say they can be me say I’m trash say I’m no good. Get Ashley Williams in here. I’m gonna f**king kick his a*s.”
Polaris 30: Play by Play – Nathaniel Wood def. Cameron Else via unanimous decision
In a thrilling lightweight bout at Polaris 30, Nathaniel Wood secured a unanimous decision victory over Cameron Else after a back-and-forth grappling contest.
The match started with both looking to establish dominant positions. Wood showed excellent wrestling and takedown defense early on, stuffing Else’s attempts to get the fight to the ground.
As the match progressed, Wood began to take control, landing some nice takedowns and securing advantageous positions. He threatened with several submission attempts, including a tight triangle choke that had Else in trouble momentarily.

Else displayed impressive submission defense and scrambling ability to escape Wood’s attacks. However, he struggled to mount much sustained offense of his own against the relentless pressure from Wood.
In the final round, Wood continued to push the pace and look for submissions. While unable to find the finish, his aggression and control sealed the unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards.
After the match, Wood said:””Yeah good good it’s kind of hard when you get a good position early and you feel like you should finish and then they get out and then you’re like oh I have to do the rest of the match now. But you know good tough match like you know I consider myself I fancy myself if you will. A submission hunter but you need those like tough decision wins every now and then you need to like know you can play tactical be tough you know pick and choose your spots.”
