WATCH: Take me down win $1000 guy teaches suspicious looking self defense to adult film star

In a viral video making rounds on social media, a wrestler Georgio Poullas, known for offering cash rewards to those who can take him down, demonstrated questionable defense techniques to adult entertainment performer Rachel Starr.

What makes this even more interesting is that UFC bantamweight contender Marlon “Chito” Vera recently expressed skepticism about his ability to take down wrestling sensation Georgio Poullas during a podcast discussion. The conversation focused on Poullas’ popular “$1000 takedown challenge,” where participants attempt to score a takedown against the former state champion wrestler.

Vera admitted that while he might succeed in an MMA setting using cage techniques, he would likely fail in a pure wrestling match, praising Poullas’ elite skills. The two even doubted that any BJJ student could defeat Poullas.

The controversial tutorial focused on escaping from a RNC, with the instructor advising Starr to “dig your chin into” the attacker’s arm. He demonstrated the technique, having Starr practice the movement while explaining, “You want to get your chin low so he can’t lock around your throat.”

However, martial arts experts and combat sports practitioners quickly criticized the advice in the comments section. “That’s terrible advice,” noted one commenter, while another pointed out, “You need to break their grip and unpack their hands. It’s far more difficult to choke someone one armed.”

A wrestling coach chimed in, stating “You’re an incredible wrestler… but that’s a bad idea.” Another expert warned that the demonstrated technique could result in a “jaw crank” – a potentially dangerous situation.

The instructor’s final advice emphasized avoiding prolonged confrontation, suggesting to “disarm and run” rather than engaging in extended physical contact. However, the overall consensus from professionals in the comments section indicated the demonstrated technique might put someone at greater risk rather than offering effective protection.

The video has generated significant attention online, partly due to Starr’s celebrity status in the adult entertainment industry, with numerous viewers acknowledging their recognition of the performer. It’s unclear if Pullas was trolling his fans with this demonstration.
