WATCH: Tourist in Thailand Learns his Lesson After Harrassing Women

A foreign visitor faced swift consequences after reportedly causing trouble and harassing female staff members at a local establishment in Pattaya, Thailand during Thai New Year’s celebrations.

According to eyewitness accounts, the incident began when the tourist allegedly bothered a female employee and poured beer over a security guard’s head inside the venue.

After being escorted outside, the tourist removed his shirt and began taunting the security guard, drawing attention from passersby who gathered to watch the confrontation. Video footage shows the man repeatedly challenging the guard while onlookers expressed their disapproval.

The situation escalated when the security guard eventually approached the man and delivered a single blow that knocked the tourist to the ground, followed by a kick. Several other security personnel and women who appeared to be venue employees then joined in, landing additional strikes before the altercation ended.

“The guy had been annoying one of the girls in the bar,” witness Nick Rizal stated. “Then he was just being annoying and causing trouble with his arrogance. The security guards were quite restrained and encouraged him to leave. But it’s a bad idea to challenge one to a fight.”

Rizal added, “For the Thai guy, it then became a matter of protecting his own honor rather than work. I have to say, the tourist had it coming, and he had exactly what he deserved.”

Security personnel later issued a public apology for the incident but maintained they were provoked after multiple attempts to peacefully resolve the situation.

“We initially tried to escort him out of the premises,” one guard told Thai media. “The manager even attempted to calm him down, but he refused to listen and continued to provoke other tourists.”

The tourist was reportedly left to walk back to his accommodation with injuries following the encounter.

This incident follows a similar case earlier this year when a professional martial artist reportedly confronted four Indian tourists during a dispute over parking in Thailand.
