A Brazilian tourist’s family vacation to Barcelona took an unexpected turn when he witnessed a pickpocket in action and decided to take matters into his own hands using his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training.

I moved to the back and at that point there was already a crowd angry with the guy

At one point, the Brazilian applied a rear choke, whispering to the pickpocket:
Stay quiet because if I wanted to I could hurt you. Stay calm
The message was clear — cooperation was the best option.
The situation continued for approximately ten minutes until local police arrived.
After a good 10 minutes the police arrived
