Dana White: Mark Zuckerberg can beat the living sh*t out of you

UFC CEO Dana White has never been one to mince words, and during a recent appearance on The Skinny Confidential podcast, he made it crystal clear. If you’re one of those internet trolls talking trash about Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, you might want to reconsider.

According to White, Zuckerberg isn’t just a tech genius, he’s a legitimate athlete who “will beat the living sh*t out of you.”

White’s defense of Zuckerberg comes from firsthand experience serving on Meta’s board of directors, a position he initially never imagined accepting.

But when Zuckerberg personally asked him to join, White couldn’t refuse. “If you’re going to be on a board, Meta is the board you want to be on,” White explained. What he discovered during those board meetings completely changed his perception of the Facebook founder.

The UFC boss described Zuckerberg’s board meetings as masterclasses in business execution, running from 8:30 in the morning until 6:00 at night with precision timing. “He’s not off by a second the entire time you’re in this board meeting,” White marveled, admitting he sits on the edge of his seat throughout these marathon sessions. But beyond the boardroom brilliance, White was particularly struck by Zuckerberg’s athletic abilities.

“Everybody thinks he’s some computer nerd. Mark Zuckerberg will beat the living sh*t out of you,” White declared. “All these guys that talk stuff about him on the internet—Zuckerberg will kick your a*s.”

White revealed that Zuckerberg actively trains in mixed martial arts, surfs, and maintains a rigorous athletic lifestyle that would put most critics to shame.

The conversation inevitably turned to the infamous proposed fight between Zuckerberg and Elon Musk, which White attempted to promote. While acknowledging that Musk is older and heavier, White noted that Musk also has a judo background from his youth. The promotion of that potential matchup became “a fun moment” in White’s career, comparable to the excitement surrounding Conor McGregor versus Floyd Mayweather.

White’s involvement with Meta wasn’t just ceremonial. He understood immediately why Zuckerberg wanted him on the board, recognizing his unique value among the other “absolutely brilliant” board members.

On Rogan’s podcast, Zuckerberg himself stated that the company needed “a backbone,” which White provided during what he called “a weird four years trying to put out content.”

White also emphasized that people who only know the tech CEO from “The Social Network” movie or internet commentary are missing the complete picture. What Zuckerberg has built, the team he’s assembled, and his personal character all impressed White deeply. The UFC CEO specifically praised Meta’s CFO as “absolutely brilliant and incredibly bada*s.”
