Derek Moneyberg Admits To Getting on TRT, Reveals His Peptide Stack

Derek Moneyberg shared his approach to physical recovery and performance enhancement during his conversation on the Jack Osbourne podcast.

During the lockdowns when gyms were closed, his weight ballooned to 300 pounds with approximately 30% body fat. Despite his growing wealth, his health had deteriorated significantly. Moneyberg has also stated that during the pandemic, his net worth jumped from roughly $11 million to $53 million in just 18–20 months.

“I’m half a Jew and I studied business forever. I spent nine years in university and my whole life thinking about business,” Moneyberg explained on the podcast. “So when you have a good hysteria and the stock market crashes, there’s no better time for somebody like me to make a lot of money.”

He’s since claimed to have gotten to 7% body fat.

When asked about his recovery regimen Moneyberg stated: “Testosterone. And some people want to make fun of a guy that takes testosterone. I’m 46 and I would not be able to train like I do. And, you know, I’m not taking some mega doses of testosterone. I go to my doctor.”

He elaborated further: “And, you know, I want it 20% higher than it would have been when you were young, you know.”

Moneyberg distinguished his usage from bodybuilding practices.

“So we’re not doing anything crazy either. If you’re a big Mr. Olympia guy those guys are like 5,000 you know 40 something.”

He added a cautionary note about that type of usage.

“(They) don’t make it past 55.”

He acknowledged the practical necessity.

“So, you know, I’m not trying to take those types of supplements which is why I don’t look like that, you know. But yeah, I take testosterone.”

Regarding peptides Moneyberg shared:

“And I take something called, um, sermorelin tesamorelin. They cycle through that over time.”

He continued:

“Peptides we’ve got TB500, BPC 157.”

Moneyberg’s overall recovery approach was straightforward. The regimen appears necessary given Moneyberg’s claimed training intensity. He states he averages four hours of training per day working with coaches including Jake Shields, Gordon Ryan, Gilbert Burns and MMA veterans like Glover Teixeira and Lyoto Machida.
