9 year old girl who wrestles and does jiu-jitsu has broken THREE US Powerlifting Records

At just nine years old, Lucy is rewriting what’s possible for young athletes. The New York native with German, Russian, and Italian heritage has shattered three American powerlifting records while simultaneously competing at elite levels in both wrestling and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

Lucy’s journey into combat sports began three years ago when she watched her older brother training. What started as a six-year-old’s curiosity has evolved into something extraordinary. Her coaches and competitors quickly realized they were witnessing a natural talent.

Her approach on the mat is what sets her apart. Lucy combines an intimidating presence with an aggressive style that has captured attention across social media platforms. The recognition has reached the highest levels of American wrestling, with Jordan Burroughs, one of the most decorated wrestlers in United States history, telling her he loves watching her compete.

This year, Lucy entered the Super 32, widely considered the most competitive wrestling tournament in America for young athletes outside of the Olympics and World Championships. At nine years old, she competed in the 11-and-under division as the only girl in the entire tournament.

Throughout the event’s history, only one girl has ever won the championship. Lucy secured third place and expressed pure joy about the experience, setting her sights on becoming the second female champion.

Her accomplishments extend beyond the wrestling mat. As a gray belt champion in jiu-jitsu, Lucy added powerlifting to her training regimen just one year ago. The results have been remarkable, with three American records already to her name.

When challenged by prominent calisthenics athletes, Lucy earned approximately $10,000 by completing 85 push-ups and 55 pull-ups. These numbers would be impressive for an adult athlete, let alone a nine-year-old.

Her trophy collection includes more than 30 medals from various tournaments and championships. But Lucy isn’t satisfied with past achievements. Her ultimate goal is clear: Olympic gold in freestyle wrestling.

Lucy’s story represents more than athletic achievement. She’s proving that dedication, natural ability, and proper training can produce remarkable results regardless of age or gender, opening doors for the next generation of female combat sports athletes.
