Australian News Exclusively Confirms Second Warrant For Arrest of Izaak Michell

Australian news outlet 10 News Plus has exclusively confirmed that a second arrest warrant has been issued for Izaak Michell, this time out of Austin, Texas, adding to an already serious legal situation for the jiu-jitsu star.

For months, Texas police have been hunting Michell over allegations of s**ual assault. He is wanted by the Hayes County Sheriff’s Office in Texas, with a $1,000 reward offered and a wanted poster carrying a stark warning: “Subject is a martial arts expert. Use caution.”

The gravity of the situation was underscored by a legal expert consulted by 10 News Plus, who noted: “A second degree felony is very serious. It carries a punishment in Texas of two to 20 years in prison.”

In an exclusive report, 10 News Plus also revealed the existence of a second warrant for Michell’s arrest. “It was an assault by contact in the s**ual nature and it was on February 25th, 2026 that a warrant was issued,” the outlet reported. The report further noted: “There are allegations that they want to further investigate and as part of that they want to arrest Mr Michell to be able to then question him.”

Since the Hayes County arrest warrant was made public, additional women have come forward accusing Izaak Michell of inappropriate s**ual behaviour, including in Australia. Michell denies all accusations.

A source assisting Texas police painted a troubling picture when speaking to 10 News Plus. “I would consider him a ticking time b0mb in Australia,” the source said. Asked about his whereabouts, the same source added: “He’s in a van. He has no fixed permanent address. I’m personally very concerned.”

Since the initial arrest warrant was granted in December, Michell has been spotted at various locations from Brisbane to Byron Bay. According to the report, he has “been bullied” and “blacklisted by most jiu-jitsu gyms, except this one in Currumbin.”

According to several sources Izaak has been training at Traditional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gold Coast.

When 10 News Plus reporter Sam Butler tracked Michell down on the Gold Coast, the BJJ star refused to engage. Butler did not mince words in his assessment: “For a world-class fighter who’s used to being in the public eye, he’s certainly playing a coward act at the moment.” Butler also described how Michell was holed up in his van for an hour and a half before calling in a female friend to drive off his van, she added: “It’s pretty clear that he doesn’t want to speak to us and he’s going to go to great lengths to avoid facing up to these allegations.”

10 News Plus was careful to note the boundaries of what has and has not been established: “Izaak hasn’t been charged, and 10 News Plus is not suggesting he is guilty, only that he is wanted for questioning. Police have enough evidence to gain an arrest warrant, and the only reason he walks free is because of the technicalities and challenges of the international extradition process.”
