FloGrappling Quietly Removes Izaak Michelle From ADCC 2026 Competitors List

FloGrappling has quietly removed Izaak Michell from its official list of ADCC 2026 competitors, a move that comes amid escalating legal trouble surrounding the Australian jiu-jitsu standout.

Michell had previously earned his place on the ADCC World Championships roster, which is set to take place in Krakow, Poland. His removal from the published list has gone largely without comment from the platform, but the timing leaves little ambiguity about the circumstances driving the decision.

Australian news outlet 10 News Plus has exclusively confirmed that a second arrest warrant has been issued for Michell, this time out of Austin, Texas, compounding an already serious legal situation.

For months, Texas authorities have been seeking Michell in connection with allegations of s3xual assault. He is wanted by the Hayes County Sheriff’s Office, with a $1,000 reward offered and a wanted poster that carries a direct warning: “Subject is a martial arts expert. Use caution.”

The outlet also confirmed the existence of a second warrant tied to a separate incident. “It was an assault by contact in the s4xual nature and it was on February 25th, 2026 that a warrant was issued,” the report says. Investigators have indicated they wish to bring Michell in for questioning, noting: “There are allegations that they want to further investigate and as part of that they want to arrest Mr. Michell to be able to then question him.”

Since the original Hayes County warrant became public, additional women have come forward in Australia with allegations of inappropriate behavior involving Michell. He has denied all accusations.

Michell has not been charged yet, only that he is wanted for questioning and that the international extradition process has so far kept him from being brought in.

Since the initial warrant was issued in December, Michell has been spotted at various locations between Brisbane and Byron Bay. According to the report, he has “been bullied” and “blacklisted by most jiu-jitsu gyms, except this one in Currumbin,” with several sources indicating he has been training at Traditional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gold Coast.

The ADCC 2026 World Championships in Krakow will proceed with a stacked field across all divisions. The Asia and Oceania region arrives with what many consider its strongest-ever group of qualifiers, following a trials event in Australia that produced upsets and breakthroughs across the board.
