WATCH: Legless Wrestler Zion Clark makes his submission grappling debut

Zion Clark has officially made his submission grappling debut at K4 Fighting, a promotion for martial arts competitions in Western New York. K4 covers everything from MMA to Muay Thai, kickboxing, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. In this debut, Clark faced off against Brandon Heh in a 130lb Submission Only Grappling match. Heh, an amateur MMA fighter with a record of 3-1-0, presented a challenge, but Clark’s track record proved he’s never one to back down.

At 27, Clark has already made waves in professional MMA, boasting a 1-0-0 record, with his last taking place in December 2022. But this submission grappling event highlighted more than just another match on his résumé; it underscored his unyielding spirit.

Clark’s story is as powerful as his grip. Born with Caudal Regression Syndrome, a rare condition that affected his lower body development, Clark has spent his life defying expectations. As a wrestler, he faced off against able-bodied competitors, achieving a 33-15 record. His persistence earned him global recognition, particularly when he shattered the Guinness World Record for the fastest hand-walking time. And it didn’t stop there.

Clark’s world records don’t just showcase his strength, but his will to continuously push the limits. He leaped 30 inches in a box jump using only his hands, breaking yet another Guinness World Record. Still not satisfied, he went further, clearing a 33-inch box to push the bar even higher.

Diamond push-ups were next in line. Not content with ordinary challenges, Clark took on the Guinness World Record for the most diamond push-ups within three minutes. While his first attempt fell short with 54 push-ups left, he rebounded like a true champion, crushing the record with 248 completed push-ups. Every move, every challenge, he treats as a new opportunity to rewrite the rules.

Clark and Heh grappled to a draw on the recent card.

This latest submission grappling match is no exception. Zion Clark’s story proves that limits are meant to be broken, and every record he sets becomes another testament to resilience and determination.
