WATCH: Olympic Judo Gold Medalist & UFC Star Kayla Harrison Manhandles Prankster

Social media prankster ImReddTV learned the hard way why challenging an Olympic champion might not be the best idea.

During what appeared to be a routine training session, the YouTuber approached Kayla Harrison, a two-time Olympic gold medalist in Judo, claiming he wanted to “show her a few things.” Harrison, who seemed to immediately recognize the situation, played along momentarily by instructing him to “bow to your sensei” before showcasing her world-class skills.

What followed was a masterclass in Judo technique as Harrison executed a perfectly timed o goshi hip throw, swiftly taking the prankster to the mat. The Olympic champion then mounted her position and playfully mimicked striking motions while ImReddTV hastily admitted it was “just a prank.” Not quite finished with the lesson, Harrison proceeded to apply an armbar submission.

This isn’t ImReddTV’s first attempt at testing professional athletes, having previously orchestrated a similar prank with Jamahal Hill that nearly backfired.

Harrison is expected to challenge Julianna Peña for the 135-pound title later this year, though no official announcement has been made. While awaiting her next professional engagement, it seems Harrison is keeping her skills sharp – much to the chagrin of unsuspecting pranksters.

This isn’t the first time Harrison was a target of a prank. Back in 2016, Harrison showcased her humor on the popular TV show Impractical Jokers, where she hilariously took down comedian James “Murr” Murray in a prank. Though initially nervous, she embraced the comedic challenge and even received offers to return for additional episodes and a movie role. Fun fact: She told them prior to filming that under no circumstances was he to attack her from behind, and that if he did she could not be held responsible for what happened to him.
