UFC’s Brian Ortega took online gaming rivalry to a whole new level when he actually traveled to North Carolina to confront someone who had been trash-talking during Fortnite matches.
According to Ortega, the incident began with numerous requests from fans to play Fortnite with him. However, one particular player’s online behavior prompted an unexpected response from the professional mixed martial artist.
“A lot of people ask me ‘hey play with me on Fortnite, play with me on Fortnite,'” Ortega explained. “Only problem is you guys be talking mad.” He then revealed, “You know what the real reason why I flew to North Carolina was? Because he was talking s**t. We made a bet.”
True to his word, Ortega showed up at the individual’s workplace, waiting patiently for them to complete their shift. In a recorded interaction, Ortega can be heard saying to the person, “I’m gonna choke your ass out,” to which the other individual responded, “That’s a bet, dog.”
The video shows Ortega instructing the person to “put your hands up, that way I know when you go to sleep.” After the incident, the individual who was choked admitted, “I took a nap man. Hey, f**king s**t feel weird man.”
