Lachlan Giles announces Kit Dale is in for CJI 2 trials as a replacement

Lachlan Giles has announced that renowned Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Kit Dale will be stepping into the CJI 2 trials as a replacement competitor.

The announcement came after original participant Josh Allsopp was forced to withdraw from the tournament. “Unfortunately we’ve had Josh Allsopp at the full out of the tournament, but we’ve got a new entry into the CJI Trials, none other than Kit Dale,” Giles stated.

Dale, an Australian grappler known for his unorthodox style and technical prowess, brings significant competitive experience to the table. The ADCC veteran and multiple-time Australian national champion has been a prominent figure in the BJJ community for years, also gaining popularity through his instructional content and social media presence.

This last-minute substitution adds an interesting dynamic to the upcoming CJI 2 trials, as Dale’s creative approach and competition savvy could shake up the bracket. Fans will be watching closely to see how the seasoned competitor performs in this opportunity.

The CJI (Craig Jones Invitational) has been growing in prominence as a professional grappling event, featuring innovative rule sets and showcasing high-level talent from around the world.
