Former B Team member Payton Leiser has come forward with allegations that Jacob “Jay Rod” Rodriguez has misrepresented the reasons behind his departure from the prestigious training facility.
Following Rodriguez’s recent video statement where he acknowledged having “screenshots of woman’s public Instagram page, as well as e*plicit material” on his phone, Leiser claims this explanation only tells part of the story.
“Jacob Rodriguez put out another video which has misled people to believe that he was asked to leave because he simply downloaded images off Instagram,” Leiser stated in a detailed public response. “This was only part of the story which resulted in false information being circulated, and blame being placed upon myself and the other women at BTeam.”
According to Leiser, the content in question allegedly contained organized folders with women’s names containing both Instagram images and adult material that “resembled the female.” She clarified that to her knowledge, “AI was not used and the photos were not secretly taken.”
Leiser maintains she did not initially report Rodriguez to B Team leadership after discovering these materials in September 2024. She states she only approached Nick Rodriguez, Jay Rod’s brother, on December 17, 2024, feeling “physically ill keeping information from him.”
“I quietly left BTeam the following day December 18, 2024 after I spoke to Nick Rodriguez. I did not run to the owners asking for Jacob’s removal,” Leiser explained, countering rumors that she had campaigned for his expulsion.
The situation escalated in March 2025 when Craig Jones, one of B Team’s founders, contacted Leiser about circulating rumors. “After providing him with my side of the story, they then spoke to Jacob, Nick, as well as other B-Team members before swiftly removing Jacob Rodriguez from B-Team,” she recounted.
Leiser also alleged experiencing “physical and emotional abuse” during their relationship, claiming Rodriguez would “push me, intimidate me, and pin me down” and sometimes “prevent me from leaving the house by blocking doorways.”
B Team owners Craig Jones and Seth Belisle have been praised by Leiser for “taking this situation seriously and taking the proper steps to ensure the safety of the female members.”
Rodriguez has acknowledged his behavior was “invasive, inappropriate, and just unhealthy” in his video statement, while asking that people respect the privacy of those affected.
