Red Lobster Is Giving Away A Year Of Jiu-jitsu Training

Red Lobster has found a creative way to send off its beloved Endless Shrimp promotion, and the farewell gift comes with a surprisingly physical twist.

The seafood chain announced on June 10 that it is launching a sweepstakes for what it calls an “Endless Endless Shrimp Card,” a prize that grants one lucky winner a free Endless Shrimp meal once per month for the next 25 years.

But the shrimp is only part of the story. Bundled into the grand prize package is something few people would expect to find alongside a seafood deal: a full year of Jiu-Jitsu classes.

“Endless Shrimp is ending soon, but for one fan, it’ll last a ‘lifetime,'” the company said in its announcement.

The complete prize package also includes a reinforced steel card case and a biometric safe, presumably to keep that golden ticket secure. “Endless just got truly endless. But only for one lucky person,” Red Lobster added.

Entering the sweepstakes is simple enough. Fans just need to comment on Red Lobster’s Instagram or TikTok giveaway post and tag a friend they would want to bring along to enjoy the meal.

There is some fine print worth noting. While the promotion uses the phrase “for life,” the official rules clarify that the term translates to one Endless Shrimp meal per person, once per month, for 25 consecutive years.

Winners also have the option to swap the entire package for a $15,000 cash prize. For those who prefer a more straightforward reward, that option makes the decision a little tougher. The approximate retail value of the full Endless Endless Shrimp prize package is listed at $9,400.

Red Lobster filed for bankruptcy in 2024 after a difficult stretch marked by rising costs and operational challenges. The Endless Shrimp promotion had previously been tied to some of that financial pressure, having once been made a permanent menu item. The move drew strong customer traffic but squeezed profit margins in ways the company ultimately could not sustain.

Now, with the promotion returning in limited form, Red Lobster appears to be turning a page, channeling the nostalgia around Endless Shrimp into something forward-looking.
