UFC lightweights Arman Tsarukyan and Benoit Saint-Denis set for a grappling match

UFC lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan has announced that he will take part in a grappling match against fellow 155-pound standout Benoît Saint Denis on May 17 in Paris, France.

The news came during an interview with former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping, where Tsarukyan revealed the details of the upcoming contest.

The grappling match, scheduled to take place under the ADXC promotion, will consist of five three-minute rounds, pitting the two lightweight contenders against each other on the mats.

Tsarukyan, fresh off his impressive win over Charles Oliveira at UFC 300, expressed confidence in his grappling abilities, stating, “He knows grappling, wrestling but like for me, it’s more advantages you know like because I grow up with wrestling.”

However, the announcement has not been without controversy. Benoît Saint Denis has responded with harsh words, accusing Tsarukyan of lying about the match and disappointing fans. “In addition to lying, you disappoint all the fans. I can’t wait to meet you in the octagon to choke you,” Saint Denis stated.
