In an incident a while back, near Singapore’s River Valley area, the police have taken two individuals into custody following a video that captured their mixed martial arts ‘exhibition’ in broad daylight outside Great World shopping mall.

The authorities responded swiftly to reports of the fight, which occurred along Kim Seng Promenade on Sunday, as confirmed by the police on Monday.

Upon receiving information about the incident, officers from Tanglin Police Division conducted ground inquiries, successfully identifying the two men involved. The individuals were subsequently arrested on Monday under charges of affray, a legal term referring to public tussling.

The confrontation, captured in a video shared by Facebook user, showcases one man engaging in a series of kicks and punches directed at the other. While the second man tries to defend himself and retaliate, he is ultimately overpowered, falling to the ground and subjected to continuous blows to the head by his opponent.

In an attempt to further subdue his opponent, the man tries to lift and slam him onto the ground. However, the second man resists the forceful maneuver, displaying considerable resilience. The situation takes a more severe turn when the second man loses balance and falls, prompting the first man to deliver a forceful kick to his head and back.

The video abruptly ends at this point, leaving the subsequent events unclear. The authorities have initiated investigations into the matter to gather more information and establish a comprehensive understanding of the incident.
